Food and Entertainment

As a child, I studied the relationships I had with family and friends and grappled with the idea of loving one more than the other. I knew that I loved them all differently but equally and the idea of favoritism tormented me. But favoritism followed me and haunted me throughout the years. In junior high I was bullied into choosing between two sweethearts and then at seventeen I felt myself falling for a man that wasn’t my significant other. From that moment on, I have been captivated by the notion of love affairs. Our books, movies, and songs are all filled with infidelity but yet promiscuity is frowned upon within our society. These mediums are used as an outlet for us to live and think in a way that we are not allowed to. My objective is to bring empathy to this sordid lifestyle so that my audience can form their own thoughts on the matter. By using this work as my own psychological outlet, I ask myself and my viewers, are we all really as faithful as we appear?
