Brendan Bell

Publicity Co-Chair

Brendan Bell is a graphic designer, artist, and musician currently residing in Providence, RI. He originally attended Parsons School of Design in 1996 yet promptly left to pursue a career in music. After 9 years of marginally successful touring and recording he decided to continue his design school education at UMASS Dartmouth. His artistic interests include dirty hands and happy accidents, yet he can also be perfectly content drawing straight lines in a stark white room and/or sitting in front of a computer for 12 hours. For Bell, happiness is getting lost in a worthwhile project regardless of the medium, especially when time pretends to be on his side. Although music is very important to him, he listens to talk radio while at work. Although talk radio is very important to him, he would rather watch a movie. He is occasionally funny, often distracted, always anxious, generally hungry and, at the moment, totally disinterested in trying to accurately describe himself and his d esign sensibilities in third person. Five (Dramatic Pauses) is his first motion graphics/video project and, most likely, not his last.
