Kelly Arruda

Kelly eats, sleeps, lives, and breathes design. She is a passionately determined individual. After a year of Americorps some traveling and career exploration, Kelly headed back to school full time to focus on finishing her degree. Her diligent persistence has lead to the completion of her BFA in Visual Design with an Art History minor at the CVPA Umass Dartmouth. She considers herself critical, analytical, meticulous, and thorough. Kelly is process-oriented and enjoys working conceptually. She delights in tackling social issues through her work. Additionally, the field of visual communications allows her to indulge in a number of interest including research, writing, layout and information structure, use of typography, publication design, book structure and materials. “I am a life-long learner. I highly value education in all forms and believe it critical to human well-being. Learning is about making connections to the world around you. I see myself exploring, creating, teaching, speaking, and writing. I look forward to being an active participant in the creative age.”
