You, each individual person around you , and I inherently hold differing perspectives on the visual world and it’s content. Things seeming as simple as the cover of a book, the latest movie poster, event brochure, or even everyday supermarket and road signage can be produced and displayed in a countless number of ways and interpreted in numerous more. My role in the world of visual communication is as researcher, interpreter and connector. As a graphic designer, my goal is to link the viewer to a better understanding of each concept, theory, company or product through relevant, successful design, pushing solutions into new realms of creative thought and approach. Integrated strategy through collaboration with community businesses and organizations can bring dialogue out from behind closed doors and into public view with a bang. Important issues cry for affective delivery: a core ambition of mine as a designer. In addition to the design of promotional collaborative and further graphic material, I’ve delved significantly into computer aided textile design and silk-screen printmaking. Opportune concepts for such handmade elements can add a unique and valuable approach to a precise, effective visual strategy.
