Myja Parviainen

Myja Ann Parviainen, a talented member of our senior class, sadly lost her life January 23, 2009 as the result of a car accident. Myja had an affinity for art throughout high school and joined us at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth as a Graphic Design major. She was an involved and incredibly talented member of our class, leaving a lasting impression on us all. She is missed and our thoughts go out to her family and friends.

A scholarship for aspiring artists has been established in her memory at Oakmont Regional High School. Donations are welcome and can be made to the Myja Parviainen Scholarship Fund, Athol Savings Bank, 52 Main Street, Ashburnham, MA 01430.
